Sophie Partlow is a marketing and communications professional with an intrinsic love of science-fiction. Her writing routinely centers around Black protagonists and weaves in timely issues as a way of normalizing the lived experience of her characters for any and all readers to relate to.
Sophie is the proud mother of an incredibly sweet little girl and three fur babies. She and her husband, Chris Partlow, began the process of adopting their daughter, Cloud, in 2019 when she was 2 days old. Chris and Sophie were introduced through a mutual musician friend online in 2010 while Chris lived in his homeland of England. The happy couple were married in 2014 after an extremely long-distance relationship. Presently, they maintain residences in the US and UK.
